Indonesia has so many places of tourism and art culture to be visited, one of them is Bandung city. Compare to Bali and Yogya as the tourism city, Bandung is not in the first position but nothing wrong if at the one time you spend your time and holiday to be there . Trust me that you will enjoy at Bandung.Bandung city is capital city of province West Java. Long time ago Bandung as known as Parijs van Java (Netherlands) or “Paris from Java”. Bandung mentioned over as the Europe of the tropical area.
As I heard, Bandung also mentioned as the duplication of Miami , because in Bandung also stands up many buildings in 1920s that deco, one of them is Hotel Savoy Homann. During colonial era the Netherlands is ever nicknamed Bandung as Mooi Bandung (Beautiful Bandung) this.
Located in plateau, Bandung are known as place that have the atmosphere of cold. This condition makes Bandung as one of tourism city target in Indonesia Java International Destination.
As one of biggest in Indonesia, Bandung can be reached easily from many other cities in Indonesia, not only from Jakarta, but from other island like Sumatera, Bali, and Borneo (Kalimantan). From Asia, Bandung can be reached by direct from Malaysia and Singapore as well.
Geographical position of Bandung make it as a metropolis in mountain area, have the atmosphere of cold, complete with blessing and beautiful nature plateau panorama. There are many tea plantation at almost every hillside.The beautiful of the city, its climate, the beautiful of mojang Priangan (Mojang Priangan = Girls from Sunda / Bandung aka Gadis Bandung alias Awewe Bandung), also the high creativity of its resident, make Bandung has different image and tradition.
Though Bandung has been existing for 200 years old only, as tourism destination, Bandung is rich in culture and heritage object. Many historic places, some museum and art deco architecture. Don't missed to try Sundanese food too.
